Description	In this talk I report on a some work that has been done to understand the action of automorphisms on spherical buildings regarding their behaviour wrt the opposition relation on flags. It turns out that this behaviour can be captured by a decorated Coxeter diagram. These diagrams remarkably resemble the Tits indices, in particular those corresponding to a Galois group of order 2.
