Description	The aim of this talk is to dicuss index theory of elliptic pseudodifferential operators on groupoids. It will be very much audience dependent... We will introduce some convolution algebras - including the C*-algebras- of a Lie groupoid, their K-theory, the construction of the index, the link with the tangent (or adiabatic) groupoid, and maybe the Baum-Connes conjecture.
