LBM-based method for simulation of cellular blood flow with nanoscale proteins Aidun, Cyrus
Description
The level of complexity in blood flow simulation depends on the application. The focus here is on cellular blood where major cells and proteins must be included in the analysis. The progress in cellular blood flow simulation based on lattice-Boltzmann method (LBM) will be discussed. Advantages of this method in terms of scalability, accuracy and flexibility for multiscale analysis critical to many applications will be presented.
