Rigorous computation of the endomorphism algebra of a Jacobian Voight, John
Description
We describe methods to efficiently and rigorously compute the endomorphism algebra of the Jacobian of a curve. We discuss improvements to complex analytic methods and a method that entirely avoids numerical computation using Puiseux series. This is joint work with Edgar Costa, Nicolas Mascot, and Jeroen Sijsling.
