Hypoelliptic stochastic FitzHugh-Nagumo neuronal model: mixing, up-crossing and estimation of the spike rate Samson, Adeline
Description
Joint work with J.R. Leon (Universidad Central de Venezuela). In this presentation, we will introduce the hypoelliptic stochastic neuronal model, as diffusion approximation of intra-cellular or extra-cellular models. Then we will specifically focus on the FitzHugh-Nagumo model, and detail some of its properties: stationary distribution, definition of spikes, estimation of spiking rate.
