Parallel in time climate modeling Kreienbuehl, Andreas
Description
We discuss an application of PFASST to simulate climate on a sphere. For the shallow water equations, the High-Order Methods Modeling Environment (HOMME) with spectral elements is used. Time parallelism on the other hand is realized by means of LIBPFASST. The focus is on implementation as well as efficiency.
