Description
A circle pattern with the combinatorics of the square grid is an embedding of the square grid such that every face admits a circumcircle. Using Miquel's six circles theorem, we define a dynamical system on the space of such circle patterns on a flat torus. Simulations seem to indicate that this is an integrable system. I will discuss work in progress which provides some results in this direction.
