Minimal hulls and minimally convex domains Drinovec Drnovšek, Barbara
Description
Minimal hulls and minimally convex domains were introduced in a series of papers by Harvey and Lawson. They are natural substitutes for polynomial hulls and strictly pseudoconvex domains in the context of minimal surface theory. We present a characterization of the minimal hull of a compact set $K$ in $\mathbb R^n$ by sequences of conformal minimal discs whose boundaries converge to $K$ in the measure theoretic sense. We also study some properties of minimally convex domains. This is a report on a joint work with Alarc\'on, Forstneri\v c and L\'opez.
