Description	< q\|pic > is a system for preparing circuit diagrams in LaTeX, with an emphasis on diagrams used in quantum computing. The user prepares a description of the circuit in the human-readable "< q\|pic > language": a Python program then converts this into LaTeX code using the TikZ graphics package. We give a brief overview of the capabilities of < q\|pic > through a series of examples. Joint work with Tom Draper.
