Description
The bottlenecks to rigorous quantum approaches to the vibrational dynamics of polyatomic molecules and clusters are due to the exponential scaling of setting up and diagonalizing the Hamiltonian matrix. I will describe strategies that effectively deal with these. Illustrations will be given for HOCO and C2H4.
