Jennifer Cooper was a semi-finalist in the 2025 UBC Three Minute Thesis (3MT) Competition. Jennifer presented their research, “Developing Blood Tests For Alzheimer’s Disease.” The study examines over 4,000 samples, identifying age-specific reference ranges and key variables for interpreting results, which will help in diagnosing Alzheimer’s and distinguishing it from other forms of dementia. Jennifer Cooper is completing their PhD in Pathology and Laboratory Medicine in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine under the supervision of Dr. Cheryl Wellington.
