Rainfall and resiliency : modelling hydrological recovery in disturbed forests Boufford, Brianne
Description
Brianne Boufford was a semi-finalist in the 2025 UBC Three Minute Thesis (3MT) Competition. Brianne presented their research, “Rainfall and Resiliency: Modelling Hydrological Recovery in Disturbed Forests.” Their research focuses on using remote sensing to improve modelling of how human activities and climate change alter the water cycle. They hope to use this model to inform decisions for forest management. Brianne Boufford is completing their Master of Forestry in the Department of Forestry under the supervision of Dr. Nicholas Coops.
