Polyhalogen Flow Batteries for Large-Scale Energy Storage Jameson, Alec
Description
Alec Jameson, a UBC 3MT Semi-Finalist, presents their research aiming to improve the performance of flow batteries through examining the composition of both halogens and halides in the battery. These improved flow batteries could help to better store energy and improve the viability of renewable energy. Alec is pursuing their PhD in Chemical and Biological Engineering under the supervision of Dr. Elod Gyenge.
