Graduate Research [non-thesis]

The Graduate Student Society cIRcle Open Scholar Award Collection (GSS cIRcle Award Collection for short) is composed of exemplary non-thesis graduate student work completed and deposited by UBC Vancouver graduate students of all disciplines. All submissions are considered for the GSS cIRcle award, a lottery based award, sponsored by the UBC Graduate Student Society, that is granted to four recipients every year, two in the summer semester, and two in the fall semester. All collection items have been approved by a course instructor or faculty member, but were not necessarily crafted under faculty supervision.

The collection invites UBC Vancouver Graduate Students of all disciplines to submit their non-thesis work to the collection. Eligible types of work include essays, papers, presentations (including posters), video or audio based projects, graduating projects or papers, and authorized versions of published journal articles based on course-related research. Depositing work is a great way to create a professional, permanent record of the work, as well as a great way to share and disseminate your research with the international community of scholars, and begin developing and enhancing your academic profile.
