Understanding artificial intelligence Leyton-Brown, Kevin, 1975-

Dr. Leyton-Brown’s research addresses issues in computational game theory; also in market design, analysis and clearing, as well as the application of machine learning to the automated design and analysis of algorithms for solving hard computational problems. He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada, the Association of Computing Machinery, and the Association for the Advancement of Artificial Intelligence. Dr. Leyton-Brown has been Visiting Scientist at the Simons Institute for Theory of Computing, UC Berkeley. A prolific scholar, he is the coauthor of Multiagent Systems: Algorithmic, Game-Theoretic, and Logical Foundations (2009), and Essentials of Game Theory: A Concise, Multidisciplinary Introduction (2008), as well as over 150 technical articles. Among his multiple honours, he has been the recipient of Amazon, Facebook, and Google Faculty research awards.
